What's the difference between Batman Arkham Asylum 2 and Batman Arkham City ?

I played the first game on the PS3 and i liked it. Minutes after finishing story mode I found out there's gonna be Batman Arkham Asylum 2. I got pretty excited but then I watched another game trailer of Batman Arkham City !!! What's the difference between those two games ?What's the difference between Batman Arkham Asylum 2 and Batman Arkham City ?
Both Batman Arkham Asylum 2 and Batman Arkham City are the same game.

The reason for the name change was the fact that Asrkham Asylum 2 was used in order to let the public know that another game was coming out, giving the game hype.

Whereas Arkham City gives greater meaning to the game as Batman Arkham Asylum 2 takes place in the city and not in the Asylum.

theres no such thing as arkham asylum 2 that was just a name people were expecting it to be call but the make decided to call it arkham city instead because it takes place in a cut off part of gothem now instead of the asylum

nothing they are the same game. batman Batman Arkham Asylum 2 was what fans were calling it because we didnt know the real name. once they told us the name was Batman Arkham City we forgot the name Batman Arkham Asylum 2
