What graphic novel is like Batman Arkham Asylum the video game/ + what graphic novel is a batman mystery, too?

I loved the Batman: Arkham Asylum game and would love to find a batman story similar to the game's story. I've heard about Batman Arkham Asylum: A serious place . . . and don't know whether or not it is like the video game. Any help on if this graphic novel is like the game and any other graphic novels similar to the game is greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows of a batman mystery graphic novel I would love to know about it.

The Arkham Asylum graphic novel is nothing like the game. It's pretty well regarded, though I personally thought it was just decent. I can't think of one that's like the game though. The best Batman crime mystery would easily be The Long Halloween, one of the best Batman stories ever told. Also coming out in November is the complete hardcover for The Black Mirror, the best Batman story of recent years in my opinion. Well , DC came out with a mini-prequel series ( 5 issues ) to lead up to Arkham city. It's actually pretty good , I enjoyed them.
