Can I use 3D glasses from the movie theatre to play Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY?

Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY comes with some 3D glasses but they look cheap. Willl the TriOviz technology used to achieve the 3D effects work with the glasses that you get when you go and see a 3D movie? I think they are called RealD.

No. Simply enough, you cannot use RealD glasses to play Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY.



Why?

RealD uses a brand new type of "3D" that can only be used with certain projectors, if I'm not mistaken. They call it, "digital stereoscopic projection technology".



On the other hand, Trioviz ( responsible for Batman Arkham Asylum's 3D technology ) uses something very similar to a 3D technology to anaglyph. Anaglyph is the old school 3D technology. It uses red and cyan filters to view 2 superimposed pictures in some sort of additive light.

Ditto what "whatever" said, plus the RealD glasses are polarized. Theatre 3D uses polarizing to create the 3D effect. As a side note, University of California has a tech program developing a 360 degree "Cave" of polarized projection to immerse a person in 3D... be pretty awesome if Batman came in THAT form, wouldn't it? :DCan I use 3D glasses from the movie theatre to play Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY?
ive seen those glasses and they are cheap they are just cardboard. yea u can use movie theater glasses which is what ima do when i get it. no way ima stay with those glasses they give us for it to break n my first wa though the game.
