I have all the requirements in order to play Batman: Arkham Asylum, but it's choppy and slow. It literally took me an hour just to get to the actual game. Anyway, I have only the minimal requirements and apparently they don't make video cards for notebooks, so says my dad. I just needed a second opinion, before I wasted my money on something that could be traded in for the Xbox version and fix up our broken one.Do I need more memory or trade it in for a different version of Batman Arkham Asylum?
Ya your laptop is not powerful enough to run the game, its always risky buying games for a laptop unless its a real high end one, my advice would be to trade it in for the xbox version, dunno about getting your xbox fixed though, maybe a new one? Just with personal experience when stuff like that is fixed, sometimes its only for so long...Do I need more memory or trade it in for a different version of Batman Arkham Asylum?
your father is right
there are no video cards for laptops
the video card of alaptop is part of the mother board to replace the videocard you need to replace the whole motherboard
if you have a weak graphics card it wont help to add more ram
you are better off buying the xbox version that will run
it wil always run at the best possible settingsDo I need more memory or trade it in for a different version of Batman Arkham Asylum?
well it's pretty simple there are video cards for notebooks, it's just that they can get kinda expensive. Also there are places that would charge you for the installation. In the end you'll pay more money just to play the same game on a different (i guess) console.
